What happens at a rhino birthday party?

Edinburgh Zoo's largest residents Bertus and Samir, the two greater one-horned rhinos, have celebrated their seventh birthdays with a joint birthday party.

Their keepers have made a large birthday 'cake' out of hay and decorated it with tasty rhino treats such as fresh grass and plenty of fruits and vegetables.

The final touch is bamboo sticks for 'candles'.

The cake was given to the duo of two-tonne rhinos and they certainly looked like they had fun.
