Humboldt penguin breaks into family home
On the hunt for food, a lost South American Humboldt penguin managed to find it's way into a family home.
The little bird had been shuffling through the streets of Chimbote, a town in northern Peru, all night before it wandered in.
After hearing pots and pans crashing to the floor the family thought they was an intruder. So they were very surprised to find out the culprit was a little penguin.
The local police came to pick him up and took him to a zoo where he is being checked over by vets before hopefully being released back into the sea.
