Could worms be the answers to helping astronauts in space?

Tiny worms are on a mission to try and help find a way for astronauts to stay longer in space.

Scientists from British universities are sending worms known as C. elegans into space, to see how their muscles react in the conditions at the International Space Station.

They're hoping the results of the study will help them find out how astronauts' muscles work in this environment.

This could mean astronauts being able to go on longer space missions.

Sounds like a small wriggle for worms, but it could be a giant leap for mankind!
