X-Press Pearl: Sinking ship serious environmental risk

A cargo ship sinking off Sri Lanka's coast has caused the island's worst marine environmental damage.

The ship called the X-Press Pearl caught on fire for 13 days and was transporting hundreds of tonnes of oil and harmful chemicals.

Plastic has already washed-up on Sri Lanka's beaches and the country is doing all it can to prevent more oil from leaking into the sea.
