How is coastal erosion affecting UK coastlines?

Coastal erosion is an issue affecting coastlines across England and Wales.

It's when land by the sea is worn away by the waves and it can have a big impact on local areas, affecting things like roads, buildings and even housing.

Newsround caught up with press packers Eleanor, Archie and Isaac to find out how coastal erosion is affecting their village and the role climate change plays.

They spoke to Coastal Change Manager Richard Jackson and Eddie Dempsey, an Earth Scientist from the University of Hull, to find out more about the problem.
