How lights affect our night time view

Dark sky festivals take place across the UK in February.

The aim is to make people aware of light pollution, which can have a negative affect on both humans and animals.

Light pollution can also make the night sky, and things like stars, difficult to see.

So, Emma-Louise went to North Yorskhire to find out what one village is doing to reduce light pollution at night.
