How Heathrow Airport's closure affected kids

Heathrow Airport is back in action after it temporarily closed due to a power outage on Friday.

The airport in London, is the busiest in Europe. As many as 200,000 people travel through it every day, to get from the UK to countries all over the world.

On Friday the airport lost its electricity because of a fire at a nearby electric substation, which provides power for the area, forcing it to close.

With thirteen hundred flights affected, many people in the UK and around the world had trips cancelled or delayed, including children on school trips or visiting family abroad.

That left kids like these stranded.
