This 90-year-old took to the skies in a glider after raffle win

Well, meet 90-year-old Barbara Brookes who bought a raffle ticket and ended up with her head in the clouds - literally.

Barbara won a once-in-a-lifetime glider experience and said it was an "amazing experience" that she would never forget.

Not only that, but she decided to raise money for three charities close to her heart by collecting sponsorships for doing the flight.

So far she has raised £2,100 - an amount she said she never expected to achieve.
