Who was Malcolm X?

Malcolm X was an American political activist - or campaigner.

He fought for the rights of black people, and showed black Americans that they should be proud of their culture.

He spoke passionately at rallies - big campaign gatherings - and is famous for fighting for black people to be treated the same as white people.
