Girls take on first Christmas as part of world famous choir

School girls Lila and Lois made history earlier this year after becoming full members of the world famous St Paul's Cathedral choir.

They were the first ever girls to join in the choir's 900-year history.

Since then, three more girls - Anastasia, Iona and Elizabeth - have also become full members.

Another three girls are currently in training to fully join the choir, and the cathedral hopes to create more opportunities for both boys and girls in the future.

Newsround caught up with the choristers who've been performing over the festive season to find out more.
