Silent sidelines: Why are some adults staying silent at football matches?

This weekend, lots of grassroots football clubs in England will be asking spectators to tone down the noise while watching matches.

It's part of England Football's Silent Support initiative - the organisation is encouraging people to clap rather than shout at players for one weekend only.

Some youth clubs in Manchester are already trying it out - but what's it all for?
