Why are many girls in Afghanistan banned from going to school?

We might all take having an education for granted, but for girls in Afghanistan, a country in South Asia, that’s not the case.

There, many girls are banned from going to school by the country’s leaders, who are called the Taliban.

We wanted to find out what life is like there now, so Emma-Louise spoke to reporters from BBC Dars.

They run a TV show which gives lessons to children in Afghanistan who cannot go to school.
