Jenny Meadows wins 800m at Copernicus Cup indoor meeting

Jenny Meadows ran her second sub two-minute 800 metres in the space of a week.

Britain's Jenny Meadows won the 800 metres at the Copernicus Cup indoor meeting in Poland.

The 2011 European indoor champion, 33, clocked a second sub two-minute time of the week, winning in 1:59.85., external

World indoor champion Richard Kilty had to settle for second in the men's 60m, in front of fellow British sprinter Sean Safo-Antwi.

There was success for Lucy Hatton, who clocked a personal best of 8.06 seconds to win the women's 60m hurdles.

Guy Learmonth posted a season's best of 1:48.43 to finish fifth in the men's 800m, while Felix Maisey-Curtis came fourth in the men's long jump, with a leap of 7.46m.

Jamie Bowie clocked 47.28 in the 400m, ahead of Luke Lennon-Ford's 47.41 and Greg Louden, who recorded a time of 48.06 at the meeting in Torun.

Alex Nwenwu came eighth in the men's 60m hurdles with a time of 8.46 seconds.
