Leicester Riders: Rob Paternostro eyes 100th victory
- Published
Rob Paternostro is eyeing his 100th competitive victory as Leicester Riders coach this weekend.
A win over Saturday night's visitors Cheshire Jets would also be his 50th at home since taking over the East Midlands club in 2008.
No Leicester coach has ever come anywhere near either milestone before.
Peter Shaw is second on the all-time wins list with 62 successes, while Karl Brown's 32 victories is second best in home league wins.
Paternostro, who won BBL Coach of the Year is his first season in charge of the club, led Leicester to runners-up spot in the BBL Championship last season, the club's highest-ever finish.
Riders began the 2012-13 season with victory at Sheffield Sharks last weekend.
