GB women beat Italy in new coach Peter Buckle's first game

Great Britain women made a winning start under new coach Peter Buckle by beating Italy 59-51 in a friendly in Rome on Saturday.

Veteran point guard Stef Collins, 31, won her 109th cap while Harvard University's Temi Fagbenle top-scored with 22 points and seven rebounds.

Buckle's team play their second game in Rome on Sunday at 18:00 BST.

British Basketball lost all its UK Sport funding in February ahead of the 2016 Olympics.
