There's no sign of the Liverpool fans turning against the Reds manager with a very, very loud chant of 'Arne Slot' beginning in the Kop and quickly gathering pace and noise around Anfield.

A hugely entertaining game this one. Both teams will feel they should be ahead. Villa have hit the woodwork twice but then had a huge let-off after Dominik Szoboszlai's weak finish after he stole the ball from Boubacar Kamara 25 yards out.

With Amadou Onana off the pitch receiving treatment, the referee should be getting this match going again but Villa are hardly rushing, understandably.
