Nottinghamshire have signed West Indies batsman Darren Bravo until the end of the season.
Bravo, who averages 39.88 from eight Test matches, will make his debut in Friday's CB40 game against Glamorgan.
Director of cricket Mick Newell said: "He has an excellent record for a 22-year-old and he is a player who has the hunger to succeed in county cricket."
Bravo becomes Notts' fourth overseas player this season, following David Hussey, Adam Voges and Tamim Iqbal, external.
Newell added: "We scoured the world to find an overseas batsman and felt Darren was a player who was worth pursuing.
"His Test record demonstrates that he is comfortable in adapting to different conditions and we're hopeful that he can make a good contribution between now and the end of the season."
Bravo is expected to bat at number three in the game against Glamorgan at Trent Bridge.
Notts have four County Championship matches and three Clydesdale Bank 40 games left this season.
