Worcestershire Rapids v Nottinghamshire Outlaws - no play because of rain |
Worcestershire against Nottinghamshire in the T20 Blast was abandoned without a ball being bowled at New Road.
Play was scheduled to get underway at 17:30 BST and a brief lull in the rain gave hopes of an inspection half an hour later.
But the bad weather returned, including hail, and umpires Paul Baldwin and Nick Cook called the game off at 19:05 BST.
Both sides take a point from the game and Notts will return to action on Saturday when they host Yorkshire.
Worcestershire remain top of the North Group, while Notts move up to third as they were boosted by local rivals Derbyshire beating Birmingham Bears, who slip to fourth.
