Lancashire 300-8 (50 overs) beat Derbyshire 199 all out (40.3 overs) by 101 runs

Lancashire earned a first One-Day Cup win of the season as they cruised to a 101-run victory over Derbyshire.

Ashwell Prince (57) and Karl Brown (59) laid the foundations, allowing Steven Croft (51) and Alex Davies (53) to up the rate as the visitors made 300-8.

Tony Palladino impressed in taking 5-49 for Derbyshire, but Lancashire controlled the home side's reply.

A superb 38-ball 49 from Wayne Madsen gave some hope but Wayne White took 4-33 as Derbyshire posted just 199.

Alex Hughes also added a useful 47, however no other home batsman made more than 23 and the Falcons innings ended just three balls into the 40th over.
