Tim Linley: Sussex sign Surrey seam bowler on loan
- Published
Sussex have made a second loan signing, bringing in Surrey seamer Tim Linley to boost their depleted bowling ranks.
The 33-year-old joins Somerset's George Dockrell at Hove for a month, but unlike the Ireland spinner, will be available for all formats of the game.
Linley has taken 191 wickets in 62 first-class games, but has not appeared in the Championship so far this season.
Both players could make their Sussex debuts in the Championship fixture against Durham, starting on Monday.
Linley had a brief spell at Hove earlier in his career, but left to join Surrey and made his debut for them in 2009.
