James Wade defeats Wes Newton to clinch UK Open title

James Wade defeated Wes Newton 11-8 to win the UK Open in Bolton on Sunday.
Wade, who previously won the competition in 2008, started the contest strongly, winning four of the opening seven legs.
But Newton battled back and came from 4-3 down to lead 6-4 before Wade won four of the next five legs.
The 28-year-old, from Aldershot in Hampshire, finally sealed victory with double top to clinch the seventh major title of his career.
