Charlotte Dujardin helps GB win dressage silver at Europeans

Charlotte Dujardin was nominated for BBC Sports Personality of the Year

Great Britain won dressage silver at the European Championships in Aachen.

Britain's quartet - Charlotte Dujardin, Carl Hester, Fiona Bigwood and Michael Eilberg - were beaten by Netherlands, with hosts Germany in third.

After Eilberg and Bigwood rode on Wednesday, Dujardin and Hester steered the team up a place from third on the second day of competition.

Olympic, world and European champion Dujardin had the highest individual score of 83.029 at the FEI event.

Bigwood - who wears an eye patch to ride after experiencing double vision - was eighth overall with Hester ninth and Eilberg 29th.

Dujardin, who was nominated for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award in 2014, rides Valegro in the individual event on Sunday.
