Norwich City contract for midfielder Matt Ball

Norwich City have handed a one-year professional contract to second year academy scholar Matt Ball.
The 18-year-old midfielder has yet to make a senior appearance but was on the bench for the 2-1 defeat by Crystal Palace in October, external.
Ball, a Northern Ireland Under-19 international, scored 13 goals in 28 academy appearances this season.
"It's a chance for him to see if he can handle playing with the pros," boss Paul Lambert told the club website, external.
"Every time he has trained with us he has not let us down at all."
