Bradford City sign Guy Branston from Torquay United

Branston made 53 appearances for Torquay last season

Bradford City have signed out-of-contract defender Guy Branston from Torquay United on a free transfer.

Branston, 32, has joined the Bantams on a two-year deal after helping the Gulls to the League Two play-off final.

Manager Peter Jackson told the club website: "I'm delighted that we have managed to sign Guy - I think he will prove to be a terrific signing.

"He will offer us a lot on and off the field because he is a real leader and an inspiration to players around him."
