Birmingham City snap up striker Adam Rooney

Birmingham have signed striker Adam Rooney on a two-year deal after his contract with Inverness Caledonian Thistle ended.
The 23-year-old scored 21 goals in 42 Scottish Premier League games for Iverness last season.
Rooney gained Football League experience with Stoke, becoming their youngest-ever hat-trick scorer against Brighton in 2006.
He joined Inverness in 2008 following a loan stint with Bury.
Rooney also had temporary spells with Yeovil and Chesterfield.
He began his career with Crumlin United and won two Republic of Ireland Under-21 caps.
