Burton Albion manager Paul Peschisolido says he is disappointed that Greg Pearson's loan spell at Aldershot is not proving to be a success.

The 26-year-old joined Dean Holdsworth's side, external in November but has featured just three times.

Peschisolido told BBC Radio Derby, external: "He went there to play games and he hasn't done that. He's probably in the same position he was prior to going.

"It's unfortunate for him but we've got three strikers who are all in form."

Pearson found the net five times in 16 starts for Burton last season but a toe injury and the arrival and form of Justin Richards, Calvin Zola and Billy Kee mean the Brewers boss may look to find the former West Ham trainee another temporary club.

"He's going to find it extremely hard to find his way into the starting line-up, so I think it would be best for both parties if we could get him back out on loan," he concluded.
