Coventry City have signed Manchester City striker Alex Tchuimeni-Nimely on loan until the end of the season.

The Liberia-born England Under-20 international signed a four-year contract with his parent club in 2010.

The 20-year-old, who made his Man City debut against Burnley in April 2010, had a three-month spell at Middlesbrough earlier this season.

"He is a hot young prospect and we have been looking at him for some time," said Sky Blues boss Andy Thorn.
