Torquay 2-2 Bristol Rovers

Lee Mansell's brace helped Torquay come from two goals down to earn a point with Bristol Rovers.

Matt Harold fired the visitors ahead from 25 yards, while Chris Zebroski caught out his former side to make it 2-0 after an incisive counter attack.

Mansell pulled one back at the second time of asking after Scott Bevan saved his follow-up to Rene Howe's effort.

And he earned his side a share of the spoils when he lifted Howe's pass over Bevan in the last minute.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Torquay manager Martin Ling told BBC Radio Devon:

Point could be massive, says Ling

"I think you've got to be relieved when you're 2-0 down, but I think we thoroughly deserved a point.

"At all times in the game, we were the aggressors.

"Again we've showed character in abundance to get out of a hole.

"We will use the playoffs as a safety net, rather than play for it."
