Crystal Palace recovered from going a goal down early on to beat Exeter in the first round of the League Cup.

John O'Flynn got the hosts off to a flying start when he headed Guillem Bauza's volley over Palace goalkeeper Lewis Price and into the net.

The Championship side hit back when Tom Doherty was penalised for handball in the area, leaving Jermaine Easter to score from the spot.

Kagisho Dikgacoi headed into an empty net on half-time to seal victory.
