Tranmere 3-1 Leyton Orient

Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro scored twice on his league debut for Tranmere, who eased to victory over Leyton Orient.

Rovers' first goal came from an unlikely source, full-back Zoumana Bakayogo latching onto a pass from Wolves loanee Jake Cassidy to score.

And ex-Rochdale man Akpa Akpro netted a brace to put the result beyond doubt.

He fired home from 20 yards and headed in a James Wallace cross, before Orient's Michael Symes scored a late penalty after Bakayogo's handball.

Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade told BBC London 94.9:

Too many bad performances - Slade

"We couldn't back up the really good performance on Tuesday.

"There were too many average or below-average performances from my players today.

"That second goal hurt because I felt we were on top and that second goal went against the run of play.

"The attitude was there but we need to play with more urgency."
