Charlton Athletic sign central defender Dorian Dervite

Charlton Athletic have completed the signing of former Tottenham defender Dorian Dervite.

The 24-year-old left Spurs in 2010 after just one senior appearance and has spent the last two years in Spain with Villarreal B.

The French centre-back, who has been on trial at the Valley during pre-season, has signed a one-year deal.

Addicks boss Chris Powell said: "Dorian will enhance our squad and we feel he will bring extra quality to our ranks."
