AFC Bournemouth release Steven Gregory

Bournemouth have terminated the contract of midfielder Steven Gregory by mutual consent.

Gregory, 25, made 30 appearances, scoring twice since joining from AFC Wimbledon in July 2011.

He joined the Dons on loan in September but that deal ended on Saturday after their 1-0 defeat by Rotherham.

"We wish Steven all the best in his career and we hope he goes on to have a long and successful career wherever he goes," said Cherries boss Eddie Howe.
