Lee Croft signs Oldham deal after Derby release winger

Oldham have signed loanee Lee Croft on a permanent basis after the winger's contract at Derby was terminated.
The 27-year-old, who began his career at Manchester City, was on a season-long loan at Boundary Park and agreed a deal until the end of the campaign.
"When my loan was cancelled due to my contract at Derby being cancelled, it was always my intention to come in on Friday," Croft told the club website., external
"I have enjoyed my time here and wanted all along to stay with the lads."
The Latics signed Chris Iwelumo, Jordan Obita and Lee Barnard on loan ahead of Saturday's trip to Walsall.
