AFC Wimbledon 2-1 Bradford

League Two's bottom side AFC Wimbledon scored two late goals to dent the promotion hopes of League Cup finalists Bradford City.

Garry Thompson gave the Bantams, who face Swansea at Wembley next week, the lead when he finished well from Kyel Reid's through-ball.

Home substitute Jack Midson levelled with a header from Pim Balkestein's cross with seven minutes to play.

And Gary Alexander headed in the winner from Tony Ajala's injury-time corner.

Bradford are now seven points off the play-offs, having won just once in the league in 2013.

The Dons remain bottom of the table but are just one point from safety.

AFC Wimbledon manager Neal Ardley told BBC London 94.9:

"I don't think we played well, we played ok, and Bradford are one of the best teams in the league.

"We fell behind which was hard but that is the first time we've come from behind and won.

"We kept going and if you believe then fortune turns, hopefully we can take it into the next game."
