Yeovil Town have signed Brighton's Latvian defender Vitalijs Maksimenko and Charlton striker Jordan Cook on a month's loan.
Maksimenko, 22, has played for Skonta Riga and CSKA Moscow and is known to Glovers boss Gary Johnson, who previously managed Latvia.
Cook, also 22, began his career at Sunderland and has had loan spells at Darlington, Walsall and Carlisle.
He joined Charlton after being released by Sunderland last summer.
