Blackburn Rovers sign Burton Albion prospect Devarn Green

Burton Albion teenager Devarn Green has completed a move to Championship club Blackburn for an undisclosed fee.

Striker Green, 16, impressed during a two-week trial with Rovers last season.

He will continue his academy scholarship at Ewood Park until the end of the 2013-14 campaign, before signing a two-year professional contract.

"We want every youngster to progress, develop and get an opportunity. This is a fantastic move for Devarn," said Burton's academy manager Mike Whitlow.
