Ross County have signed former Motherwell defender Steven Saunders on a one-year deal.
The 22-year-old left 'Well at the end of the season, after missing the first half of the campaign through injury.
The full-back, capped once for Scotland, had been on trial at Sheffield United, but has been elected to move north.
"Steven is highly-rated and was attracting attention from other clubs," said County manager Derek Adams.
A youth player at Queen's Park, Saunders joined Motherwell in 2008 and was capped for Scotland in a 3-0 win over the Faroes in 2010.
An Achilles tendon injury forced him to miss the majority of the 2011-12 season, before knee surgery restricted his appearances last term.
