Bobby Grant: Blackpool sign Rochdale striker

Championship club Blackpool have signed striker Bobby Grant from League Two side Rochdale for an undisclosed fee.

Former Accrington and Scunthorpe front man Grant, who scored 16 goals in 38 games for Dale last season, handed in a transfer request in June.

The 23-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the Seasiders.

He becomes the second permanent signing at Bloomfield Road this summer, following the arrival of defender Gary MacKenzie from Milton Keynes Dons.

Grant is expected to make his Blackpool debut in a friendly against Witton Albion this evening.
