League Two Scunthorpe United have made former Wolves striker Sam Winnall their 10th signing of the summer.
Winnall, 23, has agreed a one-year deal with the Iron after scoring three goals in four pre-season trial appearances.
He told the club website:, external "Goalscoring is probably my biggest strength. When I'm in and around the box I like to get my shots off."
Winnall made only one one first-team appearance for Wolves, in a League Cup tie against Southend in 2010.
He has had previous loan spells at Burton, Hereford, Inverness and Shrewsbury and follows fellow summer recruits Andy Dawson, Chris Iwelumo, Terry Hawkridge, Luke Waterfall, Andy Welsh, Matt Sparrow, Etienne Esajas, Sean McAllister and Deon Burton into Glanford Park.
"When you're going out on loan you're not fully a part of the team, because you know you've got to go back to your parent club," Winnall continued.
"It's nice now to be integrated into a squad and be a full part of a first team, so I'm really looking forward to this year."
Scunthorpe open their League Two programme at home to newly promoted Mansfield Town on Saturday.
