Marlon Jackson: Bury sign ex-Bristol City and Hereford striker
- Published
League Two side Bury have signed former Bristol City and Hereford striker Marlon Jackson on a one-year contract.
The 22-year-old scored seven times in 25 appearances for Hereford in the Conference Premier last season.
After coming through the youth system at Ashton Gate, Jackson failed to make a first-team start for City before leaving for Edgar Street in 2012.
Jackson is the 15th new arrival at Gigg Lane this summer and the 17th to agree terms with the Shakers.
Tom Soares and Euan Holden were initially released by Bury at the end of last season but then signed new deals after new chairman Stewart Day completed his takeover in May.
