Alfreton Town 2-1 Hereford

  • Published

Josh Law's last-minute header secured a third home victory for Alfreton Town over previously unbeaten Hereford.

The Reds opened the scoring early on when Danny Meadows crossed for striker John Akinde to head his fourth goal for the club.

Hereford equalised just before the break when Chris Sharp showed good reactions in the area to nod in.

But, with time running out, Nick Fenton sent in a fine cross, which Law met to extend Town's 100 per cent home record.
