    Scunthorpe United goalkeeper Rory Mahady, 19, has extended his loan from Leeds United for another month.

    The Scotland Under-21 international joined the Irons at the start of October and went straight into the team against York City, with the club's two other goalkeepers, Rory Watson and Maison Campbell, unavailable.

    York City defender Ash Palmer has been ruled out for the next three months.

    The 32-year-old had to go off before half-time in the 2-2 home draw with Boreham Wood earlier this month.

    Meanwhile, York have recalled goalkeeper Rory Watson, 29, from his loan spell with fellow National League side Scunthorpe.

    The Minstermen, who are seventh in the fifth tier, will face League One Barnsley in the FA Cup first round on Saturday.

    Bolton Wanderers centre-back Sam Inwood has joined Aldershot Town on loan until the end of the season.

    The 20-year-old has made five senior appearances for Bolton and was sent off in his only game this season - a penalty-shootout defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

    Inwood could make his debut for the Shots against Weston-super-Mare in the FA Cup first round on Saturday.
