Scunthorpe have agreed a deal with Lincoln City for defender Andrew Boyce, BBC Radio Humberside understands.
The 24-year-old will join the Iron in January after they triggered a release clause in his contract.
Boyce has made 59 league appearances for the Conference Premier side since joining them from Gainsborough Trinity before the start of the 2012-13 season.
The Iron are currently eighth in League Two, two points off the automatic promotion places.
