    The yellow flags are out but Lando Norris crosses the line and takes victory in the Sao Paulo sprint race. Gabriel Bortoleto is climbing out of the Sauber and into the medical car.

    Kimi Antonelli, after a valiant effort to chase down Norris, finishes second and his Mercedes team-mate George Russell is third.

    That was a huge crash for Bortoleto. He smashed into the barries at high speed on one side and was sent sliding across the track to the other. Hopefully he's OK for qualifying.

    Last call for any overtakes. Lando Norris leads the sprint from pole position but there's been a crash! It's Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto in the Sauber! He tells his pit wall he's OK.

    Lando Norris isn't losing his cool here, he's shutting the door on Kimi Antonelli at every turn. The Mercedes man hasn't given up the fight, but he's now half a second behind the McLaren driver.

    Kimi Antonelli is only four tenths behind Lando Norris now as the chequered flag nears. Charles Leclerc is also hunting down the Aston Martin of Fernando Alonso and by Turn Four, the Ferrari driver completes his mission. P5 now for Leclerc, P6 for Alonso.

    Kimi Antonelli is certainly trying! The Mercedes is staying on the rear wing of Lando Norris, who desperately needs every point he can get after Oscar Piastri's crash out.

    He's keeping that gap quite even with Kimi Antonelli.

    The gap between Lando Norris and Kimi Antonelli is 1.2 seconds as we reach lap 19 of this 24-lap sprint race. Norris is having to look after his rear soft tyres, as rookie Antonelli pushes the McLaren driver hard on his yellow medium compound.

    Charles Leclerc is creeping up on Fernando Alonso. Actually, the Aston Martin driver has two Ferraris on his green tail. The Spaniard is now being told by his pit wall to lift and coast, with the best spot around Turn Four.
