Truro City manager Steve Massey says he expects a reaction from his players after the heavy midweek defeat at Hungerford Town in the Southern League.

The 6-0 away defeat on Tuesday came a day after coach Glynn Hooper bemoaned their poor defensive home record.

"We can say let's look ahead to Saturday, but it does scar you," Massey told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"The players have to look at themselves and they have to put a response in - I know they will put in a response."

Massey added: "The coach trip home was the quietest I can remember and quite rightly, it was embarrassing, but that's gone,"

Truro welcome Redditch United to Treyew Road determined to avoid a fourth consecutive defeat.

Goalkeeper Grant Fisher comes in for his home debut and Dan Green, who left the club to join Dorchester Town last November, returns and will feature in the squad.
