Galatasaray v Juventus abandoned after snow storm

Galatasaray's vital Champions League Group B game against Juventus will resume at 13:00 GMT on Wednesday after being abandoned because of snow.
The sides were taken off after 32 minutes of play because the lines on the pitch were not visible following heavy snowfall in Istanbul.
Officials planned to resume the action after the surface had been cleared but continued heavy snow forced an abandonment with the game goalless.
As it stands Juve will go through.
They need a point to claim second place in Group B while their Turkish opponents require a victory - and the match was goalless when play was halted.
"The fixture between Galatasaray and Juventus has been abandoned after a snow storm caused the pitch to become unplayable," Uefa said on its website., external
Champions League regulations state the remaining match time will be played, rather than replaying the whole match, although more snow is forecast in Istanbul on Wednesday.
Juventus have won their last seven league games without conceding a goal and would be in the last 16 of the Champions League already had they not conceded a late goal at home to Galatasaray during a 2-2 draw on 2 October.
Their 3-1 triumph against Copenhagen on 27 November was the Italian champions' first win in the competition this season and allowed Antonio Conte's men to keep their destiny in their own hands heading into Tuesday's match.
They went into the game with six points, while their opponents had four.
The hosts, who are third in the Turkish Super League, were bolstered by the return of ex-Inter Milan forward Wesley Sneijder but their formidable home reputation took a huge knock when they were thrashed 6-1 by Real Madrid in a group game on 17 September.
A 4-1 loss at the Bernabeu a fortnight ago left the Turkish side third in Group B, two points adrift of Juventus heading into the decider at a sold-out Turk Telecom Arena in Istanbul.
After a quiet opening, the visitors threatened first with Spain striker Fernando Llorente inches away from poking his side ahead from close range, before play was halted after heavy snow and hail started to fall soon after kick-off.
