Yeovil Town have signed former Oldham Athletic defender Matteo Lanzoni on an 18-month contract.
The 25-year-old rejected a new contract with the Latics, who are managed by Glovers boss Gary Johnson's son Lee.
Gary Johnson said: "I've seen him a few times when I've watched Oldham this season and I was impressed.
"He can play anywhere across the back four and he's introduced himself to the lads in training by knocking a few about - he's competitive."
A former Italy Under-19 international, Lanzoni made 15 appearances, scoring twice for Oldham after moving to Boundary Park in the summer.
Lanzoni added: "I am delighted to sign for Yeovil Town.
"It is a great opportunity for me to play Championship football and I am looking forward to the challenge ahead."
