Alloa Athletic 2-0 Greenock Morton

Morton were relegated to League One as Alloa Athletic eased their own fears of the drop with a win at Recreation Park.

Kevin Cawley put the home side ahead with a low header past the goalkeeper.

Joe McKee wasted a chance for Morton before the break and early in the second half Alloa's Ryan McCord headed home Michael Doyle's cross.

Ross Caldwell and McCord both missed opportunities to increase the deficit as they moved seven points clear of ninth-placed Cowdenbeath.
