Welling United have agreed to terminate the contract of midfielder Matthew Harriott by mutual consent.

The 21-year-old signed a one-year deal with the Conference Premier side last month, but has now left Park View Road without playing a game.

Welling have signed defender Chris Bush following his release by Hereford.

Bush, 22, who initially arrived at Edgar Street on loan from Gateshead in March 2013, played 42 times last season in helping to keep the Bulls fup.

Harriott joined the Wings after spending last season at Northampton Town, where he made six appearances.

He began his career at Sheffield United but only featured five times before signing for the Cobblers last summer.
