Former Torquay United midfielder Joss Labadie has joined Dagenham & Redbridge, who have also signed defender Matt Partridge from Reading.

Partridge, 20, has agreed a one-year contract, while Labadie, 23, has signed a two-year deal.

He was released by Torquay at the end of last season.

In March, he was suspended for 10 games and fined £2,000 after the Football Association found him guilty of biting an opponent.

Labadie started his career at West Bromwich Albion and has also played for Tranmere, Notts County, Cheltenham and Shrewsbury.

Partridge, meanwhile, did not make a senior appearance during his time with Reading.

He has had loan spells at Bognor Regis Town and Basingstoke Town.
